A Dirty Soda Bar for Staff Appreciation at Indian Creek Elementary
Staff appreciation is a chance to give the people who support a school every day a moment that feels just for them. At Indian Creek Elementary, Cream & Copper (beverage service of Whiskey & Copper) brought in a dirty soda bar with a menu created for the school’s staff.
The drinks carried the appreciation theme through names the team would recognize:
Falcon Fuel: Sprite or ginger ale, blue raspberry, and lime, with optional vanilla creamer
Honor Roll: Dr Pepper, strawberry purée, and vanilla creamer
The Staff Lounge: Coke or Diet Coke, lime, and coconut creamer
Extra Credit: Sprite or Fresca, orange, vanilla, and sweet Italian creamer
We set up the bar inside the school with the custom menu, drink ingredients, and a selection of garnishes. Staff could look over the choices and pick a drink made for the occasion.
A beverage bar works well for staff appreciation because it gives everyone a chance to pause and enjoy a treat together. The menu can reflect a school’s mascot, a company’s culture, or the theme of the day.
